Waan qaadan doonaa

I'll take it

waan QAA-dan doo-NAA
Ordering topic in the Luuqad app

Meaning

Waan qaadan doonaa means i'll take it. Waan is I plus the focus marker, qaadan means to take (from qaado) and doonaa means will, so the sentence is I will take it. Say it when you have decided to buy, and the seller replies Waa hagaag (all right) or Mahadsanid. You can name the item first: Shaatigan waan qaadan doonaa, I will take this shirt. Waan qaadanayaa (I am taking it) means the same in the moment.
