Meaning

Daaqad is the window. It is feminine: the window is daaqadda, and the plural is daaqado. Notice the doubled d in daaqadda: the article -ta becomes -da after a d, and the two ds are written together.

Tip: The q in daaqad is made far back in the mouth, deeper than a k.

Daaqadda ka eeg.Look out of the window.

Using Daaqad at home

Point at the real thing and say "Daaqad" whenever it comes up, then let your child hear the native recording and say it back. One word used ten times in a day beats ten words drilled once. In the Luuqad app, Daaqad is taught with a picture, tested in the House quiz and practised in Heritage Hunt and Drag & Learn.
