Meaning

Xanaaqsan means angry. It comes from xanaaq, anger. To say I am angry, say waan xanaaqsanahay. Children hear the root most often as a gentle warning: ha xanaaqin, do not be angry.

Tip: Ha xanaaqin (do not be angry) is the phrase to keep for sibling arguments.
