Meaning

Musqul is the bathroom, the room for washing. It is feminine and irregular: the bathroom is musqusha, because the l and the article -ta merge into sh. The plural is musqulo. For the toilet itself the app teaches suuliga, though many families use musqul for both.

Tip: Musqul to musqusha follows the same rule as il to isha and calool to caloosha.

Example sentences

Musqusha tag.Go to the bathroom.
Musqusha ayaan u baahanahay.I need the bathroom.

Using Musqul at home

Point at the real thing and say "Musqul" whenever it comes up, then let your child hear the native recording and say it back. One word used ten times in a day beats ten words drilled once. In the Luuqad app, Musqul is taught with a picture, tested in the House quiz and practised in Heritage Hunt and Drag & Learn.
