Meaning

Cag is the foot. It is feminine: the foot is cagta, the plural is cago and the feet is cagaha. The word starts with c, the deep throat sound, so it is not the English word 'ag': the throat tightens as the a begins.

Tip: Remember the pair: lug is the leg, cag is the foot.

Example sentences

Cagahaaga dhaq.Wash your feet.
Cagta ayaa i xanuunaysa. My foot hurts.

Using Cag at home

Point at the real thing and say "Cag" whenever it comes up, then let your child hear the native recording and say it back. One word used ten times in a day beats ten words drilled once. In the Luuqad app, Cag is taught with a picture, tested in the Face & Body quiz and practised in Drag & Learn.
